FC Barcelona showed their true character in one of Europe’s most daunting atmospheres. On matchday two of the UEFA Champions League league phase, Hansi Flick’s side conquered the RAMS Park cauldron with an authoritative 4-1 victory against Galatasaray.
Despite a challenging start following Aleksey Batrakov's opening goal for the host team in the 28th minute, Barça remained calm. Just before halftime, João Cancelo pounced on a loose ball inside the penalty box to level the score at 1-1 before heading into the break.
The second half turned into a masterclass led by Pedri’s midfield tempo and Lamine Yamal’s sparkling genius. In a three-minute burst of brilliance, Lamine unlocked the opposition defense with two consecutive assists: first setting up Fermín López for a 50th-minute header, and shortly after feeding Anthony Gordon to make it 3-1 in the 53rd minute. Karim Adeyemi capped off the night in the 65th minute with a cool low finish following a fluid team move.
With this win, the Catalan team records their 10th straight victory across all competitions this season and sits on maximum points in European competition, proving their championship credentials for the months ahead.
